What is the Leadership Development Program?

Our two-week Leadership Development Program offers a unique training and teaching experience for students to take the next step in making their faith their own. Throughout the program they experience a variety of sessions and team development activities designed to help them grow their leadership abilities, strengthen their teamwork skills, and build on the foundation of their faith.

Sessions

Participants will learn from engaging speakers who teach classroom-style sessions that explore the foundational elements of our Christian faith. Some of the topics we study include how to read the Bible, Evangelism, Jesus, Prayer, and more!

TDA's

Team Development Activities are challenges designed to help participants grow in their leadership abilities, develop problem-solving skills, and strengthen their teamwork. TDA’s play a large part in participants' learning more about themselves, their personal gifts and their weaknesses.

Hands-On Experience

LDP provides opportunities for participants to gain hands-on camp experience. This is done by serving meals, learning how to run activities, and helping lead our two-day Kinder Kid camp.

If you are someone who desires to grow in your relationship with Jesus while having a ton of fun in a camp environment, LDP is for you! LDP’s community of faith is an excellent place to step into untapped leadership skills, grow in servanthood, and learn more about yourself and God!

Experiencing Leadership Training

Students will receive practical camp training as a requirement for all potential ministry team members; however, participants are not required to stay on as part of the team. These two weeks provide an opportunity to make lasting friendships as groups bond and grow together.
