There are three main categories of Kids Zone volunteers, they are: General volunteers, Teaching Team, and Visitation team. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Steve at 325-9519, 362-4970, or kidszone@winklerbiblecamp.com.

General Volunteers are the group of individuals who show up on Saturday morning and sit with the children as the event is happening. Their role is to connect with the kids who attend and help with any minor discipline issues that arise between kids. They come for the volunteer meeting at 9:15 a.m. and leave once the clean up is done at approximately 12:00 noon.

There is also a need for older individuals to be available to connect and pray with parents who stay at the back while Kids Zone is running and for people to commit to praying for Kids Zone on a weekly basis.

The Visitation Team consists of the group of individuals who have an assigned area and bring a Kids Zone information flyer to the home of each child who has attended KZ in their area. This happens after school once a week and usually takes about an hour. The purpose of visitation is to provide an intentional time of connecting with each child and their family outside of the regular KZ event, as well as to provide the parents with important KZ information. These people also attend KZ on Saturday morning and connect with the kids.

Those on the Teaching Team are the ones who are on stage during Kids Zone and deliver all the teaching curriculum in creative and effective ways. This can be through puppet shows, object lessons, telling stories, testimonies and many other ways. They have the responsibility to read through their assigned teaching parts so they are prepared to teach them and they must also attend the teaching team meeting each week to go over the whole lesson.
