Cross Current was one of the best decisions that I have ever made! It helped me grow in my knowledge of Christ and the Bible, and also in my walk with Christ. I didn't really know what to expect when I got to Cross Current. It's definitely something everyone needs to do! The wide variety of teachers that come, allows you to have a personal relationship with them. You not only have academic work, you also have work that allows you to make a difference in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada, and to the outermost parts of the world! The mission trips were probably the best part of my year at Cross Current. Being able to spread the word of God in a different country and culture, I can't even describe how amazing it feels! Spreading love to people, and telling them about someone that some of them have never even heard of, Jesus! It is for surely worth every penny that you spend going here. EVERYONE COME TO CROSS CURRENT!!!

Cross Current has been an excellent experience! I d being around other Christian young people. The classes as well as the overseas trips have helped me to grow in Christ and to have a better understanding of the Bible and how we can apply it to our lives. It has really been a life changing experience. It would definitely be the place you would want to go to if you want to be challenged to grow, and to come away with an experience you'll never forget.

Cross Current is an amazing year of meeting awesome Christian friends that that are keepers. Then you get to learn, work, and serve with those friends. I grew the most this year out of service to others. The mission work experiences this year were life-changing. I have no regrets on my choice to come to Cross Current this year.

Cross Current was a year that challenged me to be the person God was calling me to be. It was a year to learn and then apply it to my life. It was so much fun! So exciting, such a great first year to Bible College. Perfect if you wan to learn, but have more hands-on rather than complete study and nose in the books.

The number one thiing that I loved about Cross Current was the family-like community that we were able to develop. With a smaller group we were blessed with long-lasting relationships and deep friendships. I remember so many times when I felt like I had nine brothers watching out for me and my sisters. It was a safe growing experience that helped define who I am and where I belong.

so Cross Current eh? Well to me when I think of Cross Current I think of a time when my life changed. It is a place where you can learn about God, Jesus and all that good stuff, but what makes it different, and definitely worth while to look into is that fact that it isn't just the classroom. Anyone can teach you a lot about the bible, but you won't keep as much. It is about learning and doing. Cross Current is a good place if you want to do more of the doing. Some bible colleges have the idea that the more you learn the more you will do, but at Cross Current they have kind of taken a new approach and decided that the more you do the more you learn. This makes for a very strong foundation. It is great to take the time a way from the classroom and really see the practicality of what you are learning, not to know God just in your head but also in you heart and soul as well. So if you are trying to decide what bible college you want to go to and you don't know what courses you will ever use or ho w you will pay it off, I would suggest to you that you take the time and check out Cross Current. It is a place where it is not overly expensive and everything you learn you will put into everyday practical life.

My year at Cross Current was one of discovering God. The diverse and solid teaching every week challenged my mind. The weekly ministry opportunities, mentors, and camp involvement excercised my gifts. And the awesome Continental and Overseas mission trips changed my world. I can honestly say I'm a different person because of this program. I am so grateful for all the good times and lifelong friends I made, but more importantly, how I grew so much closer to God in this intense 8 months of discipleship.

My passion for God, love for his people and hunger to see his hand at work grew substantially. I learned what it was to live in community, discover truths from the Bible I did not know existed and learned to rely on him through prayer. Since then I have not only seen spiritual benefits from my time in Cross Current but also been able to excel in my secondary education at Steinbach Bible College.
